2024 My Country: What Young People Think About Patriotism
Production of Reflektor Theater
The play "My Country: What Young People Think About Patriotism" was the centerpiece of a project exploring the recent history of the Western Balkans, focusing on Serbia's role in the 1990s wars in the former Yugoslavia. Over six months, a group of young people interested in socially engaged theater collaborated with experts in history, sociology, anthropology, political science, and law. The play it combined acting, singing and instrumental music. Through a participative process, music was created and rehearsed with the actors, becoming an integral part of the performance. 2023 "Tenderness, the Last Word of the World – A Community Diary About Extremism"
Production of Belgrade Center for Human Rights
The interactive theater play explores the causes of extremism and the process of radicalization, particularly among young people. It addresses the issues such as femicide, Islamophobia, xenophobia, and pervasive violence, posing critical questions about fears, belonging, and societal change. Developed through a months-long process of research, discussions, and applied theater techniques with young participants, the play reflects their values and contributions. Original music for the production was composed as part of this collaborative effort. Authors of the play were Demir Mekic, Jelena Vuksanovic and Branka Bajic Jovanov.
2020/2021 MAMAC (THE BATE) -contemporary dance performance
Production of the National Theater in Belgrade
This 60-minute dance performance examines relationship between humans and the diital world. It highlights how fleeting distractions consume attention, often at the expense of deeper reflection.
The piece questions whether meaningless content serves as a coping mechanism for life’s pressures and challenges. The piece was choreographed by Sanja Ninkovic and was on the repertoire of the National Theater during 2020/2021.

The film “The Lobster” by Yorgos Lanthimos served as an inspiration for “One”, a 60 minutes dance performance, choreographed by Sanja Ninkovic. This dark satire portrays a dystopian society where being single is unacceptable, and societal pressure to find a partner is intensified by self-imposed expectations.
SUBJECTIVELY – choreographic miniature

This 10-minute miniature explores theperception of time. The music, whichgradually accelerates, contrasts with themovement, which slows down, evoking thesensation of time passing either slowly orquickly, regardless of its actual pace.
2018 Toward the Sun – A Fairytale About a Boy and the People Who Were Afraid

This theater play is inspired by the real-life experiences of young refugees from Iran living in Serbia. It explores how fear and prejudice can transform into empathy and connection.
Developed through a collaborative process with both migrant and local youth, the performance blends theatre and animation, combining personal stories with imaginative storytelling and inviting the audience into a world where courage and openness lead the way toward understanding.

Kafana - Musical Drama Event About the Nation

The play "Kafana – Musical Drama Event About the Nation" explored national identity among young people. Developed through months of participatory workshops, it combined acting, singing, and animation, with a script co-created by the participants. The musical elements were developed through a collaborative process, with music production and songs creation led as part of this effort.
